Peak days are Memorial to Labor Day. We require week rentals from Saturday to Saturday during peak. 3 nights minimum during off peak. Winter weekends may be available at special rates.

Built in the 1920’s as a boat house, it was part of the historic Cottage Farm Subdivision that included some of the earliest examples of quaint waterfront cottages along the southeastern shore of Little Sodus Bay.

It underwent a renovation in 2020 and 2021 that included a sea wall and raising of the cottage 24” to help protect it from the elements. Although it is no longer a boathouse it still has the unobstructed views and waterfront charm.

Plenty of deck space to hang out, within short walking distance to village and close to state park. The cottage is hidden from road view by mature cedar and hard wood trees. A very quiet neighborhood that resembles the houseboats of Seattle. If you are looking for a place to relax with the family or just a couples retreat this is the ideal location.

Enjoy boating, swimming, fishing, beautiful sunsets and more! Dock, outdoor deck, air conditioning, gas grill, close to the state park and village.

There’s plenty to do in Fair Haven and the surrounding areas. Enjoy a quiet day at the Sterling Nature Center located just 10 minutes from the cottage. Walk to the village for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Visit the local coffee shop, gift store or library. And don’t forget about the Sterling Renaissance Festival.

Little Sodus Bay connects to Lake Ontario and is located about halfway between Syracuse and Rochester. Just 40 minutes from Syracuse and about an hour from Rochester.

Bring your boat! Walking distance to marina with day slip rentals. We have a light duty dock with 4’ depths for temporary docking.

Cottage has 3 bedrooms, two private rooms with full size beds, one bedroom with two twin size beds. We also have a twin-size day bed on the waterfront porch.

Total available sleeping is 7 adults. Kids size roll out beds are also available. A/C to keep you cool on the warm summer nights.

A fully equipped Kitchen with pots, pans and utilities for most cooking needs. We have a small gas range with oven, microwave, K-cup coffee pot, drip coffee pot and toaster.

Large gas grill and small deck side grill. Some spices and normal condiments are provided. We have a small refrigerator with outdoor coolers available, ice can be purchased at store just a short walk from the cottage.

Fishing is fantastic just off the dock, especially in early spring. The cottage is equipped with a selection of fishing poles and tackle. The Cottage Box is available for use during your stay with most everything needed.

We will provide you with kayaks and a canoe for your stay. I have many options for kayaks, tandems, and singles. Life jackets for adults are provided but kids sizes vary too much so please bring what you need.

Some amazing kayak day trips can be launched directly from our kayak launch system on our dock.

Swimming and water activities are available directly out the back door. Floaties, noodles and a 5×8 swim platform is provided. Bring sunscreen and beach towels, as the cottage faces directly west for lots of tanning opportunities. Water depth ranges 4-12’.

Local restaurants, bars and cidery are withing walking distance. Live music throughout the summer and into the off season. Kayak to the Winery directly across the bay.
